Definition of
Communication: It is one of the means of human communication to convey
meanings, feelings, ideas and exchange information between two or more parties.
Introducing the speech
pathologist: He is the person trained according to a specific study to be able
to assess the cases of disorders of both language, speech, speech, and voice by
studying the organic, psychological, social and environmental factors of the
case, which enables him to develop a treatment plan based on a flexible
treatment program, to reach To create an integrated linguistic structure and
rehabilitate each of the voice, speech or language, or all of them, if any.

First: Language in
conversation:
Language is a mental
system, and it is one of the basic means of communication, and it is made up of
virtual symbols that go according to certain rules between a group of people,
and these symbols are either verbal, visible or tangible. Organs of articulation
and speech and then receive it through the auditory system until it reaches the
area of Verenca in the brain to be perceived and interpreted, then send the
response to Broca’s area to exit the expressive language))))

The first: receptive
language, which is the individual's ability to understand and perceive language
through the senses of hearing, sight or touch when blindness is lost.
The second: expressive
language, which is the ability of the individual to convey the message, whether
it is meanings, ideas, or feelings, verbally, in writing, or by sign.
Second: Pronunciation
and speech is the formation of the sound on the members of the articulation
through the exits of the sounds, which produces linguistic sounds composed of
consonants and vowels when the members of the articulation work in harmony to
produce a specific speech.
Third: The sound in the
field of communication: It is the carrier wave for verbal communication as a
result of the vibration of the vocal folds inside the larynx during the exhaled
air exit from the lungs. The raw material for pronunciation, speech and
language, which represents verbal communication between individuals through the
exchange of ideas and expression of meanings, opinions and feelings, as well as
the health and psychological state during verbal communication known through
sound.

speech therapist

keeping the secrets of the situation and the family. v Accept the case with the

• The ability to receive
cases while gaining the love of the child and the respect of the parents.
• The ability to be wise
and to act when containing emergency situations.
• The ability to
interact and cooperate with the work team through exchanging experiences,
respecting the opinions of others and not being intolerant.
Professional qualities
of a speech therapist:
Culture and knowledge of the sciences that the
speech pathologist should have an interest in, and they are in the following
areas: (medical - psychological - social - linguistic - educational).
His knowledge of how to prepare and register
the case study form in the light of (the initial data of the case and parents,
knowledge of social data, knowledge of health data, knowledge of mental health
data, knowledge of the developmental development of the case, knowledge of
linguistic development).
His knowledge of the basic tools needed to
work with different cases by preparing the requirements of the speech room and
its technical specifications.
His knowledge of pre-language skills and the
stages of language development and his ability to apply tests that help in
creating a treatment plan.
A good study of the types of disabilities and
how to evaluate the speech organs, analyze the results, develop a treatment
plan, and write reports.
His knowledge of early rehabilitative
intervention in language disorders (language delay resulting from environmental
deprivation, language delay resulting from various disabilities, whether
sensory, mental or psychological, language delay resulting from blindness
disease).
Full knowledge of the diseases of voice,
speech and language and develop the appropriate plan for the rehabilitation of
cases.
Knowledge of different exercises for sound
extraction and breathing exercises.
